SPEAK is a national network of humane educators who offer presentations on animal rights and veganism. Animal rights humane educators appear at: high schools, colleges, universities, churches, community groups, and on radio and television.
Our humane educators inspire people to reflect on their lives so that they can live in a more compassionate manner. Audience participants learn to make daily choices that cause the least harm to other species and our earth.
SPEAK’s humane educators present non-judgmental and positive affirming presentations so that others may raise their consciousness about non-human animals. They offer captivating and educational experiences which inspire critical thinking in a format that is engaging and empowering.
A typical presentation consists of lecture, video, interactive activity, lively discussion, and demonstration with audience participation. Presentations are flexible in length and age appropriate.
Participants gain knowledge of new ways of viewing the world and explore how their attitudes and daily decisions significantly affect other species and the environment. They learn to examine their deepest values while gaining practical skills to live their lives in a peaceful manner, making our world a better place.
